We concentrate on one thing and one thing only - your eyes. From comprehensive medical eye exams and laser vision correction to finding eyewear that complements you, our personal service sets the standard for high quality eye care.
With the most advanced diagnostic and therapeutic instrumentation in the eye care field, we are skilled at early diagnoses of macular degeneration, glaucoma and other diseases of the eye. Our entire staff participates in continuing education and training to ensure that you receive the best eye care treatment available.

The Eye Services of Jackson staff is headed by both a doctor of optometry and an acclaimed certified optician. This highly qualified team ensures that you are receiving the most advanced eye care available and that a trained professional is helping you choose the eyeglasses, lenses or other optical instruments that fit your needs.
Kathryn Ring, Certified Optician
Kathryn Ring graduated from the Opticianry program at Ferris State University in 1972. She went on to receive her certification from the American Board of Opticianry that same year. She has been honored with the 1994 Distinguished Service Award from the Opticianry Association of Michigan and is very active in the Jackson community. Kathryn has been practicing Opticianry in Jackson since 1976.

Bricker Buseth, O.D.
Bricker Buseth, O.D., graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1990 and completed his internship at the Great Lakes Naval Hospital in Great Lakes, Illinois. He is certified by the National Board of Optometric Examiners and the International Board of Optometry for the treatment of occular diseases. He is a member of both the American Optometric Association and the Michigan Optometric Association.

Our History

Eye Services was established in 1985 by Kathryn Ring, a certified optician who believed in providing high quality eye care.
In 1994 she was joined by Dr. Bricker Buseth, who shared her passion for providing customers with the best service and products available.
Eye Services of Jackson has earned a reputation for using the most advanced diagnostic and therapeutic instrumentation in the eye care field. It is also known for unique eyewear, appropriately referred to as "Jackson's Most Complimented Eyewear."
