Have good wiper blades and fluid. Be sure your heater and defroster are working properly. Have the battery checked, make sure the post and connections are corrosion free and the battery has all the water it needs. Belts and hoses should be checked to ensure you don't have any cracks or leaks. Be sure you have the proper tire pressure so that you have the best traction possible.
