Pressed Wool Felt
Pressed wool felt is made via an intricate process often referred to as "wet processing".
Pressed wool felt is made with multiple layers of material and has excellent solvent resistance and stability in oil.

Polyester felt is a general purpose synthetic needle punched felt made in various densities thicknesses, often made in comparable density and thickness to SAE pressed wool felt.
Anti Squeak & Rattle felt is thin gauge polyester supplied in rolls with adhesive (PSA) or as cut parts.

Needle Punched Felt
Sheet felt is a dense, pressed wool product made in 36"x36" sheets, anywhere from 1/8" to 2-1/2" thick.
Needle punched felt is made by vertically needling fibers together to achieve a desired thickness and density.

Adhesive Backed Felt
Felt wicking is manufactured round and is supplied in diameters ranging from 1/8" to 1".

Naturally Pressed 100% Wool Felt in Beautiful Colors
60" wide x 1/8" thick

Sutherland's Eco-Felt line is a low cost alternative, minimally processed 100% tan wool felt. It is stocked 60” wide in seven thicknesses ranging from 1/8” to 1”. It is made in F-10/F-11 (soft) density, and costs 5-15% less than SAE grey felts (F-3, F-7), and 40-45% less than SAE white felts (F-1, F-5, and F-10). This material can be custom manufactured to match almost any density and thickness (minimum order applies).
