RABIES WARNING IN THE BLOOMFIELD HILLS AREA
Recently there was a diagnosis of Rabies in a kitten in the Bloomfield Hills area. It is more important than ever to make certain your personal pets are immunized against Rabies. Even indoor cats need to receive a Rabies vaccination.
Confirmed cases of Rabies are on the rise in Southeast Michigan. The primary carriers of Rabies are bats, skunks, foxes, horses, cats, and dogs. Rabies can be spread through contact with or through the saliva of infected animals. Rabies can also be spread to humans.
