C o m p a n y H i s t o r y :
L. L. Harris and Associates was founded in the spring of 1971 to plan and provide environmental site analysis, land planning, grade engineering, and landscape design for the unique 290 acre residential community of Parkview Hills in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Parkview Hills has achieved national recognition for its environmental excellence which seeks to preserve natural open space while providing its residents with diverse life styles.

The firm has a broad range of experience in almost every phase of landscape architecture and land planning. Projects range from single family or multi-family residential housing to residential landscape design and from school, office, commercial and industrial planning to urban streetscape design, park planning, trailway planning and design, and environmental studies.

Site and land planning are special areas of expertise in addition to environmental studies, landscape design and site lighting plans. The firm has completed projects throughout Michigan and as far west as California.
