Enjoy the beauty of nature at the John and Mary Dahlem Environmental Education Center. Colorful gardens, luscious forests, green prairies, rolling meadows, marshes and ponds dapple over 300 acres and highlight Michigan's changing seasons. With five miles of hiking trails, including a half-mile special needs trail, unique exhibits and year-round educational programs, visitors can spend the day exploring the great outdoors and discovering the wonders of nature.
The Dahlem Conservancy is a public, non-profit organization that manages and funds the Dahlem Center. Our mission is to bridge the gap from the human to the natural environment. We function as an outdoor laboratory for school field trips, workshops, public programs, and anyone who is interested in and enjoys nature.
Come, explore, and see what makes Dahlem Center so special!
