The Scandalous Gospel of JesusStarting Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at 6:30 p.m., you are invited to an amazing book study that will examine The Scandalous Gospel of Jesus by Peter Gomes -- long-time professor and pastor at Harvard University. Come and learn more about the scandalous teachings of Jesus -- scandalous because they are challenging and often require a radical change of mind, heart, and life! The study ends on Wednesday, November 17.
The Story of GenesisJoin Rev. Carnes as he explores the creation story found in Genesis. This Bible Study meets on Sunday mornings from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the Spindler Dining Room on the first floor.
Isaiah: The Christmas Prophet
On Wednesday nights during the first three weeks of Advent (December 1, 8, and 15) we will study a few key passages in the book from the prophet Isaiah. Week one will be taught by The Rev. Maurice Fetty. Week two will be taught by The Rev. Todd Petty. Week three will be taught by The Rev. Kyle Carnes. It may be one of the busiest and most wonderful time of the year, but why not take a couple hours on these Wednesday nights and join us for Bible study? Dinner is served at 5:45 p.m. The study begins at 6:30 p.m. ALL are welcome!
