Mayflower Preschool has been NAEYC Accredited since 1993. This involved going through an extensive self-study process measuring the program and its services against the ten NAEYC Early Childhood Program Standards and more than 400 related Accreditation Criteria. The National Association for the Education of Young Children administers the largest and most widely recognized accreditation system for young children.
Established in 1968, Mayflower Preschool is a state licensed, nonprofit organization. The preschool is administered by the Mayflower Preschool Council. The council is comprised of Mayflower parents and community members who have a dedicated interest in the growth and development of preschool children.
To create a warm, learning environment that stimulates creativity and produces an atmosphere conducive to developing a positive self-image for each child. Our Program has enough structure to provide security, but enough freedom so that the child can explore, develop and grow emotionally, socially, physically and intellectually.
