Seasonal Flu Shots at CHCWM
CHCWM will have flu shots available for patients starting September 20. Eligibility requirements for receiving a flu shot at CHCWM include: must be a current CHCWM patient, have an order for a provider, obtain insurance authorization, and have a scheduled appointment.
The 2010-2011 Seasonal Flu Shot includes the 2009-2010 strain of the H1N1 virus. Therefore, a second shot is not required for protection against H1N1 this year. Please be aware, patients with Medicaid and certain HMOs will not be authorized for a flu shot at CHCWM.
Quantities are limited and will be dispensed on a first come, first serve basis. Contact your CHCWM office for more information or to schedule a flu shot.
