Synthesizer Ensemble to perform at Electronic Music Summit on December 2
Schoolcraft College's Synthesizer Ensemble will perform at the Electronic Music Summit on Thursday, December 2 at 7:30 p.m. at Schaver Music Recital Hall at Wayne State University. U-M's Digital Music Ensemble and WSU's Electronic Music Ensemble will also perform in this unique opportunity for the community to experience this emerging form of musical expression. Admission is $5.00 per person.
"Enemies: A Love Story" will be discussed in November
Pageturners, Schoolcraft College's book discussion group, will be reading and discussing Isaac Bashevis Singer's novel, "Enemies: A Love Story" in November. The book is available at a substantial discount from the Schooclraft College Bookstores.
Evening Concert Series kicks off season November 19 with pianist Antonio Pampa-Baldi
The Schoolcraft College Friday Evening Concert Series will kick off the 2010-11 concert season with pianist Antonio Pampa-Baldi performing November 19 at 8 p.m. in the VisTaTech Center. Tickets for the concert are $20 per person ($10 for students). Season tickets for all four concerts are also available for $70 per person.
Free concert December 1
Christopher Scholl, tenor, and Kevin Bylsma, piano, will perform a free concert on Wednesday, December 1 at noon in the Presentation Room of the VisTaTech Center as a part of the college's Noon Concert Series.
Culinary Arts program welcomes two experts for upcoming demonstrations
Chef Edward Notter will be on campus Tuesday, November 2 at 3 p.m. and Chef John Folse will be on campus on Thursday, November 18 at 10 a.m. for demonstrations of their unique culinary talents. Both sessions are free and open to the public.
