I'm Pastor Jim Fogle, and I have the great joy of serving Christ the King Lutheran Church, your community church in the Livonia, Michigan area.

Christ the King is made up of real people living real lives and discovering the real love that God has shown us through Jesus Christ.

Lutherans believe in the Triune God. God created and loves all the creation the earth and the seas and all of the worlds inhabitants. We believe that Gods Son, Jesus Christ, transforms lives through his death on the cross and his new life, and we trust that Gods Spirit is active in the world.

We are part of Gods unfolding plan. When we gather for worship, we connect with believers everywhere. When we study the Bible or hear Gods word in worship, we are drawn more deeply into Gods own saving story. Gods story of endless grace, love, forgiveness and justice. The story of manna from heaven. The story of a few loaves and fishes feeding 5,000. The story of the blind receiving sight and the lame leaping like a deer. It is the story of the bread of life that can feed us even after we die. This is the story we teach, learn, proclaim and live at Christ the King Lutheran Church.
