As owner and pastry chef, with over 15 years experience, I enjoy making fresh baked goodies from SCRATCH that are unique and personalized. I love the creative outlet of drawing and decorating that make each treat special.
I received my pastry certificate from Kendall College in Evanston, Illinois. The first bakery I worked in was an upscale bakery (Swedish Bakery) in Chicago where I learned basic skills of cake decorating, baking and designing wedding cakes. At Schmeissings Bakery, also in Chicago, I was able to perfect my skills. I worked for Apple Mountain Resort in Freeland and The Midland Country Club before opening my own shop in 2007.
