Here you can walk gracefully down the red carpet to our outdoor wedding site pagoda to be married under one of our exquisite lakeside sunsets. You and your wedding party can stroll inside to our 10,000 square foot lodge, get your first toast as a newly wed couple, then enjoy a meal that many will assert is the best theyve ever had. Originally a business retreat visited by such notables as Henry Ford, Thomas Edison and Harvey Firestone, Waldenwoods still offers a special up-north, but close-to-home experience to visitors and members alike. Members can rent anything from a rustic cottage to a luxury villa or enjoy free camping in the 320 campsite campground. There are two lodges to choose from and 10 cottages that sit along Lake Waldens shore. Families can play together or simply lounge by the Olympic-size swimming pool.
Summer activities include golf, fireworks, hayrides, dances, bonfires, tennis and beach volleyball. Winter is equally festive with a winter carnival, New Years party, Valentines Ball, ice fishing and sledding. The stately 10,000- square-foot Cromaine Lodge sits on the waters edge and is an ideal spot for your wedding or conference. Upstairs, overlooking Michigans most beautiful sunsets, is the Bellringer Club member lounge, open year-round for food and cocktails.

You can enjoy Great Michigan camping year round at Waldenwoods. We give you all that Up-North beauty without the long drive. Enjoy full hook up camping, tent camping, or just a simple picnic camping site. Everyone in your family will find fun things to do in our daily activities or make friends at our family center, marina, pavilion, playground, or kite field. Camping has never been easier. Since were so close to you, you can go camping every weekend. You dont need a reservation any time except for holiday periods. Just come out and set up camp. We also offer select seasonal sites that allow you the option of leaving your unit on site 6 months of summer or winter. Go camping even more by using our RV storage so its right where you want it to be just give us a call and we'll put it on site.

The banquet and conference center at Walden Woods can host a variety of events including family reunions, graduation and anniversary parties, golf outings, business meetings and weddings. Our first class chef can customize a quality dining package for breakfast, lunch or dinner and our staff can serve an elegant plated meal, a scrumptious buffet or an old fashioned barbecue on the front lawn.
