U.P. Concrete Co. has been involved with concrete for the past 30 years. It is a family owned business. U.P. Concrete Co. was first started by Franklin Stenberg as a redi-mixed concrete delivery business. There have been many changes throughout the years. In 1988 Franklin started to do concrete construction with his sons running various crew doing poured basements, sidewalks, and driveways. In 1996 Franklin’s youngest son Melvin came to work in the office and ran the concrete batch plant. 2004 saw some major changes, U.P. Concrete erected a new modern redi-mix plant to serve the Delta County area. Then in June of 2007 the redi-mix division was sold to Bichler Gravel and Concrete, as Franklin was wanting to retire. This allowed Melvin to devote his full attention to concrete construction.
Membership in American Society of Concrete Contractors and American Concrete Institute Certified Flatwork Finisher has helped Melvin achieve better customer satisfaction and trust.
