Only a few years ago, in late 1996, Norman Pestka started Northern Land & Sales, and over 30 years ago he founded Pestka Construction.
Today, Norman operates both companies as the President, with his son Patrick as Vice President. Both Norman and Patrick agree that starting Northern Land & Sales was a very good business decision.
Northern Land & Sales purchases large tracts of land (usually 5,000 to 10,000 acres throughout the Western Upper Peninsula of Michigan (primarily Ontonagon County) and Northern Wisconsin. The land is developed with building sites for homes or cabins and access roads. After developing the property, it is sold in 40-acre parcels or larger. All parcels are sold with legal, deeded access.
