What is in a name? The very name of our church expresses our vision and our mission. First, it speaks of our vision for ministry. Proverbs 29:18 of the Amplified Bible states, Where there is no vision (no redemptive revelations of God), the people perish, but he who keeps the law of God (which includes the law of man), blessed, happy and fortunate is he. This principle is implied in our name:
Living Water comes from John 7:37-39 On the last and greatest day of the Feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him. By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Living Water Missionary Assembly believes in being filled with the Holy Spirit, and that this Spirit is the driving force enabling the Christian life.
