different Music or Dance School to enroll at?
Since 1995 over 3,500 students have taken music lessons or dance classes at the Dance Asylum School of Music and Dance, more than at any other studio in the Saugatuck, Douglas, Hamilton, Fennville and South Haven areas. We started out as a very small studio, but have grown to become one of the largest music and dance schools in the Allegan County.
We dont believe we are the best because were the biggest. Instead, we believe were the biggest because families think were the best. As a parent we realize you have a choice between several different studios. All studios are not the same. We constantly renovate and improve our facilities and provide ongoing training to our staff to ensure we are always providing our students and parents with the best experience possible.
Today, as in 1996, there are several different studios to choose from. We invite you to compare the features and options to see why our studio has been chosen by so many parents in the area.
Our Studios Have "Floating" Professional Dance Floors Our "Floating" Dance Floor rests on a system of high density foam to absorb the shock and impact of regular dance movement. This benefits students by reducing fatigue and preventing injury that can result from dancing on hard surfaces. The top layer of our flooring surface is a professional vinyl composite "marley" floor similar to the surfaces used by the Royal Academy of Dancing in London, England. This marley floor surface has a certain amount of controlled slip to allow for sliding in dance movement, but is not slippery like common tiles found in most other dance studio
