An Oakland County man whose in-dash GPS system was stolen at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, four weeks ago, had it replaced at a Troy dealership, and thought it strange that the new navigation system was programmed with the same settings as his original.

The service and sacrifices made by veterans of the “Forgotten War” in Korea were remembered during a ceremony at Warren’s City Hall on Nov. 10. More than 200 veterans of the Korean War were honored on the day before Veterans Day, in a year that marked the 60th anniversary of the beginning of the war on the Korean peninsula.
