Being surrounded by the beauty of the Upper Peninsula with the Hiawatha National Forest and Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in my backyard, inspiration and opportunity abound. If I could take you for a hike to see what I photograph, you would be amazed too.

Photography has always been the single most enduring source of enjoyment throughout my life. I'm a self taught photographer but later pursued an education in the field that really opened my eyes to the technical as well as the creative side of photography.

All but a select few of my photographs represent nature as I find it. The use of the computer to create my photographs using traditional darkroom techniques is unsurpassed by wet darkroom printing processes.
