Come enjoy some adventurous fun filled days, year-round for people of all ages. 20 Acres of sprawling beauty at R & J Resort Campground brings great atmosphere for things like fall salmon, spring walleye, summer skamania, crappie, trout and year-round steelhead fishing at world renowned Tippy Dam on Big Manistee River (open water all-year) and Bear Creek. Anglers try fishing nearby designated trout steams on Pine Creek or Little Manistee River. Boating sportsmen, the backwaters above tippy have record walleye, bass, pike, perch, bluegill and other pan fish or ride your jet ski. Thrill seekers try adventuress canoeing, kayaking or float down the Pine River, Big or Little Manistee River. Explore the beauty of wilderness nature with-in the woods of the Manistee National Forest. Plenty of small game, turkey, white tail deer to hunt and woodland surprises such as tasteful morel mushrooms. We also have other great extraordinary tasting mushrooms that pop their head up, in our surrounding area so you can enjoy festivals and picking fun through out the year. Fabulous trails near-by to hike or bike through some spectacular sights and terrain. R & J Resort location in Brethren Michigan, offers comfortable, affordable cottages (fully furnishes just like home); semi-modern cabins (sleeping units with a few amenities) or rustic cabin (just like camping with a bed between you and the ground) and campers enjoy large secluded wooded campsites for tents, travel trailers, 5th wheels or motor-homes 45 ft. w/slid outs, along with a place to storage your RV. Spacious views as the world awakes, you can sit on cabin porch or picnic table to watch the sunrise, hear the birds sing and life dance around you, while sipping your start-up coffee. Fun family environment, pet & kid friendly park. Playground area is centrally located, easy to access and easy for you to supervise.
