Mulch Wholesalers is Jackson's largest manufacturer of landscape mulch in the growing season, as well as Jackson's largest bulk salt yard in the winter. We take pride in being available year round to service the retail, commercial, and wholesale niches in mid-Michigan and beyond.

In 1995, Mulch Wholesalers began grinding and coloring clean wood waste produced by C&K Box Company, Inc into an earth-friendly alternative to the landfill. Colored landscape mulch was new to the market, and we embraced the trend. Starting where most do, with Red mulch, we now also produce Gold, Brown, and Black.

Mulch Wholesalers added a division, LandscapeWithUs Garden Center, in 2001. That provided us a retail friendly environment with the ability to offer additional products like decorative stone, topsoil, sand, and bagged mulches, as well as high quality perennials and annuals.

Our next goal was to develop year round relationships with our loyal customers. With that in mind, we expanded again in 2002 to offer ice melt products, including a bulk salt bin and 24-hour availability during Michigan's inclement winter weather.

Listening to our legion of repeat mulch customers led to the addition of the Rotochopper pictured at the top in 2005. The biggest concern of colored mulch customers was consistency in both color and wood size. The Rotochopper gives us that elusive quality control capacity. We now grind and color our own products so your yard matches from season to season.
