Dr. Geran and her entire staff at South Lyon Orthodontics are committed to providing you with the most advanced and highest quality of care available. We also strive to make your experience with us educational, personal, and enjoyable.

Dr. Rene E. Geran has provided orthodontic care to the South Lyon community area residents since 1999. She earned her undergraduate degree at Hillsdale College and her dental degree at the University of Michigan. Dr. Geran obtained her specialty training in orthodontics at the University of Michigan Graduate Orthodontic Residency Program. Dr. Geran has a Master of Science degree in orthodontics. Her training is extensive and includes knowledge of a wide array of treatment approaches, including the use of the most advanced materials and techniques. She also is well versed in the treatment of more complicated problems such as the surgical treatment of jaw imbalances. Dr. Geran regularly attends continuing education courses, which allows her to stay at the forefront of orthodontics so that she can provide optimal care and the most current treatment options for her patients.

Dr. Geran is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontics, and the Great Lakes Association of Orthodontics. She also takes pride in her membership in local organizations such as the South Lyon Area Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Geran lives with her husband and two children in Brighton. In her spare time she enjoys many outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, biking, travel and photography.

Prior to your appointments, feel free to use our toothbrushing area, fully stocked with prepasted toothbrushes, floss, and mouthwash. Our open treatment area and spacious benches allow your family to spread out and relax when they accompany you to your appointment.

When you arrive at our office, make yourself at home and enjoy a cup of coffee, hot chocolate, or a lemonade at our complimentary beverage station. We welcome your little ones! Our special area for children showcases a storybook castle painted by a local artist, Laura Evans. We provide activities and books including a wooden train table.
