Providing HIV/AIDS related services to the people of Jackson, Lenawee, Livingston, and Washtenaw Counties.
Welcome to the HIV/AIDS Resource Center
The HIV/AIDS Resource Center, commonly referred to as HARC, is a private non-profit organization founded in 1986 by a group of dedicated volunteers in order to provide HIV services to the people of the following Michigan Counties: Washtenaw, Jackson, Livingston and Lenawee. Today, HARC is the only comprehensive AIDS service organization providing HIV/AIDS prevention, education, outreach, and direct care for people affected by HIV/AIDS in this Michigan four-county area. HARC's mission is to provide HIV related services to the community through compassionate direct care, prevention and outreach activities.
We invite you to learn more about HIV/AIDS, explore the many resources and services provided by HARC, and get involved by volunteering or making a contribution. Our staff are committed to providing innovative and effective HIV/AIDS services of the highest quality. There is still much to do in the fight against HIV/AIDS in our community and we welcome your input and involvement. If you are a person affected by HIV/AIDS, know that you are not alone and that HARC is ready to help.
