A little bit of History: The Last Resort B&B Inn began when the building was constructed in 1883 by Civil War Captain Barney Dyckman as South Haven's very first resort Inn. It ran as a resort until 1959, when it was closed up and virtually abandoned for twenty years. The Inn was purchased and renovated from 1979 until its reopening in 1983, as South Haven's very first bed and breakfast Inn! It is now open May 1st through October. Read more in the Press Kit.
