In the 5 years they have owned the Day Star Motel, they have built a great rapport with not only the community but many guests that have made their stay an annual event.

Tucked away just 7 miles north of Baldwin, we are located across from beautiful Wolf Lake. Whether you are looking for outdoor fun or local shopping you have reached your destination. Day Star Motel and its surrounding areas offer an array of off road trails that provide year-round entertainment for atvers and snowmobilers.

If fishing and boating are more up your alley, we have beach access across the street on Wolf Lake. If you are looking for a day in the canoe or some river fishing, you are just 10 minutes from the Pere Marquette and Pine River. Looking to hunt allusive Whitetails, or even morels? Day Star Motel is seated next to thousand of acres of state and federal land.

As you can see, Day Star Motel is the perfect destination for any outdoor enthusiast, but it also offers many indoor activities, too. In the heart of downtown Baldwin you will find many boutiques and restaurants, along with an area favorite homemade ice cream shop.

Don't forget you are also only 35 miles away from Ludington which offers shopping and a movie theater. And you are only an hour from Grand Traverse Mall. And it is only a short 45 minute trip northwest to the famous Litte River Casino.
