Your tattoo was applied with sterile, single service needles. How it looks from this point on is up to you. 1. Leave the bandage on for at least one hour. 2. Wash the tattoo with mild antibacterial soap. Dial works well. (Try to avoid scented soaps, as they can irritate the tattoo.) Blot it dry. Do NOT rub it. 3. Apply Tattoo Goo, Bag Balm or A&D ointment to your tattoo at least 4 times a day. 4. Follow the above procedure daily until your tattoo is completely healed. Suggestions to aid in healing & preserving your tattoo: * Do NOT let your tattoo dry or crack. * Wash your hands before you dress your tattoo. * Keep your tattoo out of chlorinated water for at least one week. * Do not pick or scratch your tattoo while it is healing. If your tattoo itches, slap it or rub lotion on it. * If your tattoo site becomes infected or painful or if you develop a fever, seek medical attention immediately.
CLEANING PROCEDURE Piercings MUST be cleaned twice daily for the entire duration of the healing process. 1. ALWAYS wash your hands thoroughly before cleaning your piercing. Never touch an unhealed piercing with unwashed hands. 2. Rinse your mouth with antiseptic mouthwash after eating or drinking anything other than water or ice & after smoking. (Scope is not an antiseptic mouthwash. Be sure the bottle says ANTISEPTIC.) 3. Some discharge is to be expected during the healing process. Clean this off using a clean cotton swab soaked in mouthwash. ADDITIONAL CARE FOR LIP, LABRET & MONROE PIERCINGS 1. First clean the inside of the piercing as directed above. 2. Remove any dried discharge from the jewelry and around the piercing by soaking the area with clean, warm water & swabbing with a clean, moist cotton swab. 3.
