Quiet, off-highway motel for your home away from home!
The Shorewood sits nestled on 3 park-like acres. Enjoy the view of Little Bay de Noc from your room or sitting outside at our picnic tables, or on a lawn chair. Our Bay offers you fun filled days of swimming, boating, fishing or just plain relaxing.
Our twelve comfortable, clean rooms have all newly remodeled bathrooms, color cable T.V and remotes, ceiling fans, a/c and some shower-tub combinations. Add to this each room has a refrigerator and microwave. Check out our reasonable rates.
We are conveniently located as a "home base" for day trips to the Upper Peninsula's favorite attractions: Fayette State Park, Peninsula Lighthouse, Sandpoint Lighthouse, Pictured Rocks, Waterfalls and Iron Mines just to name a few.
FISHING? The Best!
Perch, Northern Pike, Small mouth Bass and the best Walleye fishing in the country. Fishing out of your boat, with a local charter captain or in an ice shanty. You will have a memorable trip to Bay de Noc.
All this is made easy with a public boat launch and bait and tackle shop just across the street from your room. Bring your catches back and we have cleaning and freezer facilities to keep your catches in for you trip home.
