In spring, 1989, we bought a used paver, roller and truck for $2,500 to pave our driveway. Neighbors asked us to pave their driveways, too, so even though we already had full-time jobs, we started a small asphalt paving company Joe Bryant & Sons Asphalt Paving Co. We operated out of our home, hired our two sons and bought more equipment.
We handled primary residential contracts, because of the growing demand, weve added commercial, industrial and government contracts. That meant more employees and equipment. Because the growing need for total fulfillment in our paving jobs, we purchased a 2006 Wirtgen W/1200 F milling machine to grind asphalt.
In 2006, we changed the company name to Bryant Asphalt Paving Inc. We pride ourselves on our solid reputation of honesty, integrity and top-notch work. We are proud of history and longevity in the southeast Michigan-northwest Ohio region.
