Albert W. Laaksonen II, is the founding attorney of Laaksonen Law Offices, P.C., established in 1991. He graduated from the University of Michigan focusing his undergraduate studies on accounting, and graduated from the Law School of Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. After graduation he clerked for the Honorable Donald Goodwillie in Kalamazoo County Circuit Court until moving to Van Buren County to establish his law practice in 1991.
Attorney Laaksonen is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, Van Buren County Bar Association, and the Kalamazoo County Bar Association.
Attorney Laaksonen specializes in the areas of criminal law, drunk driving, drivers license restoration, civil litigation, collections, estate planning, and business finance.

Susan L. Durian
Susan L. Durian is an attorney in the firm of Laaksonen Law Offices, P.C. She graduated cum laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan and completed her undergraduate studies in political science at the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina. While at law school, she attended an international human rights program at Trinity College, in Dublin, Ireland.
Attorney Durian joins the firm of Laaksonen Law Offices specializing in family law, specifically practicing in the areas of divorce, custody, child support, domicile, paternity, adoption and estate planning.
Attorney Durian is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the American Bar Association as well as local bar associations. She is also associated with the Saugatuck Resort Condominium Association legal committee.
