For over 100 years, Schwartz Boiler Shop has been providing quality service to clients throughout Michigan and the Great Lakes region. What started out as three brothers dedicated to repairing and maintaining commercial boilers has now grown to encompass a wide variety of services well beyond the original core business. Through careful expansion, training, and experience, we now offer expert services in many more areas. Our dedicated technicians have been honing their individual skills for years and bring a variety of expertise, licensing, certifications, and innovation to serve you.

Blast & Paint

Schwartz Blast and Paint offers one of the largest Blast and Paint Booths in Northern Michigan. At 60 feet, we can accommodate your trucks, heavy equipment, and just about any large structure you need cleaned and painted.
Our Mobile Blast Service is ideal for removing graffiti, cleaning up after fire damage or mold contamination, or even re-surfacing log homes. Our experienced crew is knowledgeable in all specialty areas including soda blast, glass bead blast, and media types such as corn cobs, walnut shells, coal slag (black beauty), garnet, steel grit, and aluminum oxide.

Crane & Forklift Services

With our equipment and skills, Schwartz can support many of your projects, helping you complete your jobs on time and on budget. Experienced operators and riggers will evaluate your lifting needs and develop a safe and efficient plan to ensure success. Our specialty equipment includes a 55-ton Grove TM 550 hydraulic truck crane, 25-ton National boom truck, 18-ton Bantam rough terrain four-wheel drive crane, and a 4000 lb. rough terrain forklift with a 21’ straight boom.
