Hi and welcome to Greenwood Acres Family Campground and to our website. We are a family owned and operated business. Greenwood Acres Family Campground (GWA) has over 1100 sites with over 700 seasonal campers. You can enjoy camping at GWA from April 1 through October 31 with Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend being the core, seasonal camping. We also have a free, 9-hole Golf Course open only to those with seasonal or over-night camping at GWA.

We are located on the south-end of Goose Lake. This is a private, spring-fed lake with no public access. On Goose Lake, you can enjoy swimming, fishing and boating. There is a 5 mph speed limit enforced because of the size and environmental structure of Goose Lake. Jet-skis and watering skiing are prohibited so the majority of the boats on the lake are pontoon boats.

On the weekends during the seasonal camping months, GWA has activities for children, teens and adults. Some of the weekly activities include Euchre and Pinochle, free kids's arts and crafts and dances. GWA also has themed weekends celebrating Christmas in July, Halloween and much, much more. Check out the Calendar weekly for updates to the summer itinerary. Other weekend activities also include rides on the Tram, Mini-Train (currently being repaired) and Merry-Go-Round.

Over the past several years, GWA has become a large contributor to the American Cancer Society (ACS). During the camping months, the seasonal campers plan, organize and coordinate numerous fundraising events for the ACS. Some of the activities include collecting returnable bottles and cans, prize drawings, poker runs and activities involved with our theme-weekends. The proceeds from these events go directly to the ACS. The seasonal campers turn fundraising events into FUN-raising events!
