Fall is here. Theres nothing prettier than a sunny day when the leaves are in full color. I love football season, pumpkins, haunted houses, cider and donuts and the crisp fall air. It also seems like I cook more at home, go to movies and of course get pop and popcorn. These are some of my very favorite thinks to do. So yeah for fall! HUGE REMINDER: This Thursday, October 7th, is R Lisas (she makes R delicious desserts) Fundraiser. She has been battling breast cancer for 2 years. She needs R help with all her medical bills. We are having a bake sale, silent auction, raffle, prizes and live music with Group Therapy. By popular demand R bake sale will start at lunch. Lots of great homemade baked goods. Just think; take back a dozen cookies for your afternoon snack. The silent auction is from 4-7 P.M. We have awesome auction items for hotels, golf, lots of MSU and Michigan stuff, salon services, YMCA memberships, Halloween items, gift baskets, restaurants, etc. You name it, we tried to get it. So stop in for fun and help a sister out. Dont forget, buy a Jell-O or pudding shot for $1.00 too. Fall is here and just some reminders on R happenings here. We know you love R lunch specials but after 4 P.M. we have great delicious deals too. The 1st and 3rd Monday of the month is Speed Euchre. Game starts at 7:00 P.M. sharp. Be here and bring a friend, its quick and fun plus we have drafts for $1.00, schooners for $2.00 and deals on R burgers. Also the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month we have live music back from 8-11 P.M. This months bands are Kathy Ford and the Knock Offs. Did you know Tacos are only a dollar on Tuesday? Wednesday is off Wine and the Best Appetizers in town are only $6.00. Thats a real deal. As always, we have R Chicken Pot Pie on Thursdays and the Best Long Island and Long Beaches are also on special. Friday of course is Halibut and great live music. Saturdays all day is Happy Hour. Better yet you can create your own bucket of domestic beer and some imports all day and night. 5 beers for 10 bucks. We have R great burgers on special too. Plus, we have great TVs to watch the games on. After 4 P.M. R Sizzlers and NY Strips are on special plus you can have free toppings on your steaks. The best news is we are preparing R Halibut a new way on Saturday. It is encrusted in a light Parmesan breading and baked. SO GOOD! Its my favorite. We are all decorated for Halloween. Are you? Of course R Halloween party will be Saturday, October 30th. Costume contest at 9:30, 1st and 2nd place prizes. Drink and shot specials too. Dont forget. Join us before or after the Michigan State or Michigan games. Just show us your ticket and your 1st drink is only $2.00 (good on drinks up to $5.00) Did you know we are grateful for your gift of friendship and of course your business too? Go for a walk. Love you so, K.A.O. P.S. We love to accommodate big groups and are so happy you pick us. A little tip: Most restaurants put parties of 8 or more on one check and add gratuity. WE DONT. You can have separate checks but it helps so much to pay by cash. Running separate credit cards and keeping them all organized takes a lot of extra time especially if you are on your lunch hour. So if there is any way you can help us out by paying with cash we would appreciate it as you appreciate us running separate checks. P.S.S.
