My wife and I started our business in 2003. We live in the Reeths-Puffer
school district. I pretty much handle the business as Christy is a fifth grade
teacher at Mona Shores. We have two boys ages 10 and 5 whom are very active
in sports. I grew up in Montague and graduated in 1987. I did some college then
enlisted in the Army until a wrist injury returned me home. I worked for D & W
Foods for seven years then started working in the garage door industry in 1994.
Christy went to Mona Shores and graduated in 1988. She then graduated from
Western Michigan University with a bachelors in education and a few years ago
got her masters through Grand Valley. She has been been teaching for sixteen
years now and still loves it.
