Rapid Shred was the first company in Michigan to be NAID certified, and has successfully passed each annual inspection to retain our AAA certification for off-site (plant-based), on-site (mobile), micro media pulverization, and hard drive destruction.
Continue growth and planning for future growth in west Michigan has allowed Rapid Shred to expand into a new building that was designed and built with the specific security and operational needs of our destruction business. The building includes access control, 24-hour video surveillance and alarm systems, and houses some of the newest technologies and highest capacity shredders available.
Rapid Shreds multi-million dollar investment in our new building and equipment demonstrates our commitment to the long-term service in west Michigan.
Our high-volume security shredder is the largest plant-based shredder in west Michigan. In addition to our paper shredding capability, Rapid Shred can effectively destroy all types of plastic and metal media. Off specification product, old computer media, microfilm, and x-rays are just some examples of non-paper products that are securely destroyed and disposed of by Rapid Shred.
Rapid Shred maintains an ever-growing fleet of trucks to accommodate the needs of our clients. Rapid Shreds current fleet of 7 collection trucks provides for responsive collection of our clients materials to return to Rapid Shreds facility for destruction. Rapid Shred has also upgraded its on-site (mobile) shredding capabilities by purchasing two new state-of-the-art mobile shredding trucks. The cutting chambers provide for the smallest available shred size and a high throughput rate to securely and efficiently shred right at the clients location.
