Munson Hospice is offering a video developed as a tool to help with the difficult but important conversation about end-of-life care. This video can be used:

To give to family when considering end-of-life options
To educate patients and their families to consider the benefits of early access to hospice care.
To address many of the common questions and concerns patients, close family, distant family may have on this issue.

The Michigan Shores Cooperative is located in northern Michigan's Benzie County in Frankfort, Michigan, less than an hour from Traverse City, Grand Traverse shopping, and the Cherry Capital Airport. Our three-story building is located on 19 wooded acres overlooking Lake Michigan and its stunning sunsets. See our Photo Album for a nice photo tour of the grounds and local area.

For your inspection, are the policies, services and operation of the Michigan Shores Cooperative. This site contains specific information about the duties and obligations as members in this cooperative. It is designed to answer most of your questions about what it means to be a member of Michigan Shores Cooperative. See our Common Questions page for answers to the most commonly asked questions.

Copies of the By-Laws, Occupancy Agreement, and various other documents have been included on our Documents page. A reading of these documents will affirm what the cooperative expects of its members and what the member can expect of the Cooperative.

There are 54 spacious one-bedroom (676-799 square feet) and two-bedroom (844-1488 square feet) apartments with full-size kitchens and baths (either tub-shower or shower) and walkout decks or patios.

To qualify, a Michigan Shores member will be 55 years or older, and meet minimum income requirements. A member's share is paid to the cooperative upon relinquishing their membership, the share money is returned with limited equity to the member or their estate in accordance to the Corporate By-Laws.
