I have a 2005 Nissan Pathfinder which has a noise like a spring sqeak in the front end.?

I have taken it to a Nissan Dealership several times for them to say they can’t find anything wrong…they don’t even hear the noise. I can hear it with or without a radio playing…and I’m not a technician.

I can understand your frustration. I am a Vehicle Technician and have taken vehicles on road test with a described fault and nothing is apparent. I suggest you go on a road test with a mechanic with you driving and when the noise starts say so.
Your description may not be what the mechanic is expecting to hear or can hear.
Front end noises are difficult as there are so many moving parts. Likely fault based on your description – like a spring squeak – is probably a shock absorber. If the occurrence is while turning it could be any of the bushes. Sway bar – anti roll bar – bushes are particularly prone to squeaking with a slight body roll.
Good luck and please do not get frustrated with your mechanic he wants your vehicle to be right for you – really.
With bushes squeaking just finding the fault can cost as much as a repair. The fault is obviously not considered a safety issue so has been left to develop – I know annoying but they are trying to save you money.

on pathfinder dist,cap,wires,plugs or new no spark what else can it be?

Did you check the engine fuse and all of the relays. Are you getting power to the ignition coil?

how much would a 4" suspention lift on a 2001 nissan pathfinder cost?

also how much would some big bfgoodwrench tires be and some sweet wheels.

The total would probably be around 3500-$4000 for the suspension, wheels and tires. After spending all that money the truck would handle terrible and be susceptible to rollovers.

While putting gas in my 06 nissan pathfinder it stops the pump as if its full after only putting $2? help!?

As soon as I start putting gas in my 2006 Nissan Pathfinder..the pump stops as if its full when I’ve only put about $2 of gas; and every couple dollars i put it keeps clicking like it’s full. What’s the deal?

Nissan currently has a recall for fuel level senders. does not garranty your covered, you wil have to call the dealer… but worst case if your not covered the part cost for the sender and seal $115.00 not including labor…

I am looking to buy a new watch and I need some opinions based on experience , I am looking at the suunto vector hr and the casio pathfinder models also the freestyle navigator. I want a reliable watch that has a compass and fitness capabilities I have also looked at the timex iron man and all the reviews are mixed . The suunto looks the most solid of all …..PLEASE ADVISE!!! what to chose

I was wondering how long it would take to make an extra remote control fob key for my 2007 Nissan pathfinder?

I have the main key with a remote control and i wanted to make another in case i lose it. I dont really have a lot of time since im mostly on the road but but how long does it take to program or whatever they do at the nissan dealer ship thanks!

You’ll need to purchase a new key FOB, get it cut and take it to your local Nissan Dealer where they can program it for your using the Consult III.. It should take no more than 15minutes to program it for you, however most dealers have a "half hour" minimum charge.. Which will be $50-$75 depending on the hourly rate they charge..

how much of a difference will an amp do for clarity and loudness if i get new car speakers too?

i already own a 2008 nissan pathfinder with a new alpine deck stereo, but i am going to get front and rear interior speakers. how big of an amp should i get if i want it loud and clear sounding?

well what ever kind of speakers you get..(i would go with alpine all the way) just get a four channel amp that will push all four of your speakers..and most amps come with built in crossovers..just ask the dealer you go to…but if all four speakers need 100 watts rms get a 400 watt 4 channel amp..and alpine makes great sounding speakers and damn good amps!
