Nestled among the pines of the Manistee National Forest in Northern Michigan, youll find a special, hidden gem, a place thats all about golf.

At Manistee National Golf & Resort we offer you two distinctive par-71 courses created by some of Michigans finest names in golf design. These courses, Canthooke Valley, designed by Gary Pulsipher, and Cutters Ridge, by Jerry Matthews, together provide 36 holes of championship-style exciting golf, some of the best playing adventures in the state.

Canthooke Valley is a traditional golfing experience that meanders through hardwoods and pine forest and is a favorite with players of all levels of experience. Cutters Ridge gives you targets to aim for and dares you again and again to cross the natural wetlands that roll through the site. You wont be able to visit here without testing yourself against both these courses.
We welcome both local and traveling golfers to Manistee and we offer both full and part-time memberships. We are also a full-service resort with an Inn, a restaurant and indoor and outdoor swimming pools.
This is a great destination not just for the wonderful golf but also for the many attractions nearby that you, your family and friends can enjoy. Sand dunes and bluff-lined beaches are just minutes away at Lake Michigan. You can tour a host of local museums and hike and bike in the national forest after taking on Canthooke Valley and Cutters Ridge.
