Dr. Zamorano and her associates have developed revolutionary computer image guided neurosurgical techniques and instrumentation used on inoperable tumors and lesions of the brain in numerous national and international centers.
Dr. Zamorano research work is primarily devoted to the implementation of computer-guided neurosurgical and radiation treatments. Her clinical work involves surgical treatment of brain tumors (Glioblastoma Multiforme, Astrocytoma, Low grade Astrocytoma, Acoustic Neurinomas, Meningiomas, Pituitary Tumors, Skull Base Tumors), vascular malformations, epilepsy, movement disorders, pain and psychiatric disorders.
Dr. Zamorano clinical expertise is devoted to CAS and Minimally invasive surgery, including endoscopy, stereotaxis, and robotics.
