Fall is here, and what a beautiful autumn so far! The colors are amazing and it looks like a great harvest for area farmers. Jewelers are reminded that THEIR harvest season is right around the corner, and we have been busy stocking up with the best selection of merchandise we've ever offered in our 26 years plus in Tecumseh!

The price of gold is near an all time high, but much of our inventory is still priced at the lower gold price when it was purchased. Further, the price of rough diamonds has risen by more than 20% in the last year, but polished prices haven't gone up as retailers are resisting higher prices. Diamond prices are certain to climb soon, though, so now would be an excellent time to put that larger diamond you've been wanting to give in layaway. It's hard to believe, but we are now less than two and a half months away from Christmas!!!

Watches are also a great gift idea, and we have over 400 watches in stock! We have watches by Seiko, Pulsar, and Citizen in all descriptions: chronographs, perpetual dates, automatic mechanicals, divers, world timers, yachting and pilot watches, and more. Price points start under $75 and go all the way to Seiko Elite models around $1,500.

Our estate jewelry department always has a selection of vintage and collectible ladies and gents wrist watches, pocket watches, and pendant watches. In fact, our estate section has now been expanded to 3 cases to accomodate our ever expanded selection.

Remember of course that we buy scrap silver, gold, and platinum (that's how we stock our estate jewelry department). We'll also buy coins, damaged and broken jewelry, and dental gold which we won't resell, but simply scrap or refine. Another point to remember when selling your gold is that we strive to do our best at recycling gold from an environmental standpoint. We will reuse any gold items first whenever possible rather than sending off for reprocessing at the refiner. Earthworks ranked us as one of the top twenty jewelers for ethical gold sourcing!
