Welcome to my photographic world of historic, weathered Michigan barns, one-room schoolhouses, Maine and Michigan lighthouses and harbors, covered bridges and Michigan waterfalls.
Like a prospector searching for that elusive golden nugget, the rewards of my journeys are more often found in a mountain waterfall framed by blossoming flowers, a remote lighthouse, or a Michigan schoolhouse full of the spirits of the children who played there.
I never cease to be inspired by the nature and history of our American landscape--the sound and splendor of a cascading Michigan waterfall; the drama of an emerging sun against a dark, stormy sky; the heroic stories that must be part of a Maine or Michigan lighthouse; the joyous laughter that once road atop a rusted, deserted tricycle.
So, please, kick back and spend some time browsing through my galleries of old barns, Michigan and Maine lighthouses, boat-filled harbors, covered bridges and other photographic testimonials to our beautiful American landscape. I hope you enjoy my images as much as I did photographing them.
