We are giving away a free full Thanksgiving dinner to a family in need in the Tri-City Area this year. We are asking our fans to post a short story about a familyof 4-8 members that are really struggling this holiday season. Submissions can be posted to our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/itsnobull or emailed to usdirectly by visiting the contact us page of this web site and submitting through the email form.
We will post the chosen stories on the site after Nov 15th and hope you will return to vote and help decide who will receive this meal to remember.
The chosenfamily will be selected on November 20th and contacted that day to make arrangements for delivery on Thanksgiving day.If you would like to make a donation to the cause we may be able to provide meals for multiple families this season. Anthony's Kicked Up Catering was launched in the Grand Haven area to bring a new variety of foods and party ideas to the West Michigan area. It is privately owned and operated by Chef Anthony Gonnella a resident of Grand Haven. With Chef Anthony's extensive schooling and experience in catering as well as full service dining on both the East and West Coasts, you are guaranteed to find something new and exciting to Kick Up your next event.
Additionally, you can visit our lunch restaurant / gourmet delicatessen open Monday - Saturdayfrom 10am to 3pm. Try one of our gourmet deli sandwiches featuring in house roasted meats and Chicago's own fresh baked "Gonnella" bread. We get our frozen dough from Chicago's own "Gonnella Bakery" then proof and bake our breads fresh daily at our restaurant. We also feature a full array of baked goods and breads, weekly lunch specials, unbeatable salads, made from scratch soups 3-4 daily, and boxed lunch delivery to local businesses from Muskegon to Holland. We will go "Above and Beyond" to exceed your expectations.

A typical perception is that catered food is fairly bland and tasteless. Unfortunately that's all to often true. In fact, the majority of catered foods are commercially processed - what we call "heat and serve". While this may be suitable for some palates, we like to kick things up a bit. "I believe catered food should taste like it was made in your favorite restaurant - not in a cafeteria"

We understand how difficult choosing the right company to handle your catering needs can be. Additionally we understand the difficulties involved in choosing the menu for your event when you have never tasted any of the items. Our unique catering business has one large advantage. We have a dining room open to the public for lunch daily from 10am-3pm. Chef Anthony and his crew are happy to invite you in for a tasting prior to making any menu decisions. With advanced notice and a small charge to cover the items prepared, you can sample some of the items you may be interested in and base your decision making on taste rather than description.

Anthony's Kicked Up Catering is a preferred caterer at Fricano's Event Center featuring accommodations for both small parties 25-50 people as well as large events up to 600 people. We are also a featured caterer at the new Seven Steps Up Event Center in Spring Lake. Both venues are absolutely beautiful and do have a full bar available. Plated dinners, cocktail parties, buffets, and receptions are available. Full service, BBQ, and Buffet Menus available by request. Let's take a few moments and talk about nutritious foods and preparations. Anthony's Kicked up Catering is all about eating healthy and can provide a variety healthy sandwiches, deli meatsand wraps that are lower in calories. We only use Non-Trans Fat Oils for dressings, marinades, and deep frying. Most of our deli meats are prepared and roasted in house which means we start with whole fresh cuts of meat. We season then roast or smoke each cut without any unneeded processing or fillers which are found in most products available on the market today.

During the 2010 Coast Guard Festival Anthonys Kicked Up Catering proudly donated a total of 600 meals to the men and women of the United States Coast Guard and their families. The donation was Chef Anthonys way of saying THANK YOU.
