Taxidermy - definition Taxidermy is the practice of creating lifelike representations of animals, most commonly birds, mammals and fish, by the use of their prepared skins and various supporting structures. Taxidermy may be traced to the ancient custom of preserving trophies of the hunt.
Welcome! to Nature's Image Taxidermy. My Name is Brian Jones (myspace); As a taxidermist I look at your trophy as my trophy and thus what you can expect is an authentic lifelike representation. We are located in Ionia, MI and fully state and federally licensed. I have been a proud Ionia resident, my whole life. I have been a taxidermist since 2005. I specialize in Game head, Life size Mammals, Pheasants and Turkey's. Being an avid hunter and animal watcher it was only a matter of time before I began doing taxidermy work.
I am a proud member of the Michigan Taxidermy Association, NRA, Ducks Unlimited, Pheasants Forever, Wildlife Forever, Commemorative Bucks of Michigan and a Lifetime Member of the North American Hunting Club.
