Hear Michigan Audiology began over 20 years ago when one of the owners, John Ackerman, Audiologist, was an Audiology trainer for the world’s largest hearing aid manufacturer. After learning as much as possible about the products and industry at that time, he was ready to start his own hearing healthcare business. With this knowledge, he was able to provide his patients the best hearing aid solution and service possible.

With 19 facilities with plans to expand, Hear Michigan is now the largest family owned hearing healthcare facility in the state! As other family members have joined the company, we are able to provide our patients around the state of Michigan with the most advanced hearing aids, at the best prices to fit their lifestyle and needs.

All of the hearing instrument specialists at Hear Michigan hold a Michigan license in Audiology or Hearing Instrument Dispensing. As a group, we are members of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, the American Academy of Audiology, the Michigan Academy of Audiology, and the Michigan-Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
