Great Lakes Bone and Joint Center provides comprehensive services dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of Orthopaedic disease. Great Lakes Bone and Joint Center opened in April 1993, to provide the most advanced Orthopaedic patient care available.

Dr. Daniel Garcia opened Great Lakes Bone and Joint Center in Battle Creek with the goal of offering comprehensive services dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of Orthopaedic disease. It didnt take long for patients to notice the unique services and level of care provided by Great Lakes Bone and Joint. A second office was opened in Marshall just two years later in 1995. In 1997, Dr. Robert Thomas joined the practice followed by Dr. Joseph Burkhardt. With the addition of the two doctors, Great Lakes Bone and Joint Center is now offering the areas most innovative procedures.
The practice has continued to grow and now serves patients with the three doctors as well as a staff of nurses, physician assistants and therapists. The center offers advanced facilities in Marshall and Battle Creek that reflect the leading edge procedures. Each physician has operating privileges throughout southwest Michigan and prefer to complete the procedures closest to the patients home.

At Great Lakes Bone and Joint Center, patients can expect to receive the same surgical and treatment procedures as they would at a much larger facility, but the attention and service given to patients at Great Lakes Bone and Joint far surpasses any other.
