Royal Oak Kitchen & Bath is a full service remodeling company, specializing in kitchens and baths. Founded by Rex Holton in 1954, the company has designed and constructed nearly 10,000 kitchens, with customers from New York to California, as well as throughout Michigan. Over the years the business has garnered a number of accolades and distinctions. In 1956 a Royal Oak Kitchen graced the cover of the Better Homes and Gardens magazine, and in 1962 the company offered the very first residential microwave oven available in Michigan- at the whopping cost of $1,200.00. The business has also won beautification awards from the City of Royal Oak and CKD/president Tim Holton has received national recognition for his designs in the National Kitchen and Bath Association‘s Design competition. The company is also a member of several notable business groups, including the NKBA, NFIB (National Federation of Independent Businesses) and the WAAA (Woodward Avenue Action Association).
After more than five decades, ROK&B is still a family business, custom designing projects with personal attention to every detail from beginning to end. Our typical clients don‘t have the time to handle their own renovation and expect a higher level of expertise and craftsmanship from their professional design team.
