News Note - Seasonal Alert for Horse Owners
As the weather get's warmer and grass begins to appear through the snow the grasses in the sandy areas in Northern Michigan can pose a problem for grazing animals like horses.
As your horse grazes on these grasses they may ingest more sand than usual into their digestive tract. Colic can result from this so watch for these symptoms this season.
