We are a private school located in the metropolitan Detroit area. Founded in 1984, Montessori Stepping Stones is a school for children that is based on the principles and practices of Dr. Maria Montessori. Nurturing, dedicated teachers create a stimulating child-centered environment that fosters independence, self-esteem, responsibility, self-motivation, and academic competency.

As a responsible parent you must ask yourself why you would choose Montessori and this school, in particular, for your young child.
