Dr. Eric Ochs is native to this area, having graduated from Fraser High School. After attending Oakland University he went on to the University of Detroit School of Dentistry, graduating in 1987 with his DDS degree. He and his wife, Dr. Susan Baker, met in dental school and married in 1990, shortly after forming Baker & Ochs, P.C. It was at that time the two began practicing together.
Eric and Sue have two boys and make their home in Clinton Township. In his spare time Eric likes to tinker on old cars in his garage, and spend time up north with the family. He is at the office on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
Dr. Susan Baker grew up in a family of five children in St. Clair Shores, and graduated from Lakeshore High School. She then attended Adrian College for four years before going on to University of Detroit School of Dentistry, graduating in 1989. Drs. Baker and Ochs met at dental school and married in 1990, and now reside in Clinton Township with their two boys Matt and Andy. Sue keeps herself busy when she’s not at the office by helping at the boy’s school and being a Cub Scout leader. Both doctors regularly take continuing education classes to stay at the forefront of dental technology, many times with the entire office staff.
Dr. Baker is at the office on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Dr. Diane Hoelscher is Associate Professor and Chairperson of the Department of Patient Management at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. She earned a BS in Dental Hygiene, DDS and MS in Health Care Education from UDM. She has been a member of the dental faculty since 1990 where she has taught periodontics and operative dentistry. She is actively involved in many professional associations, including the American Dental Assoication, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Dental Education Association, where she currently serves as Chair-Elect of the Council of Faculties. While her full-time academic appointment keeps her busy Monday through Thursday, she particularly enjoys the Fridays she spends at Baker and Ochs. She has been with the practice for the past seven years.
