There was once a time when you couldn't help but be surrounded by a community. People lived in smaller towns, they knew everyone else, went to church together, did business with each other, socialized together, and when there was trouble, helped each other out. Times have changed! Today many of us don't even know our neighbors by name, let alone have any sense of real community. Families move apart, parents work... today, many people find themselves facing the pressures of life alone. But it doesn't have to be that way. At Healing For The Nations, we believe that God's purpose for the church is to establish a community in which we look to Him and to each other for support against life's trials.
